Project Description: The IRS website handles more than 2 billion page views per year. The system has 39,000 users and processes 60 million taxpayer documents. VisionOnline is one of the premiere subcontractor to IRS on one the largest IT contractor awarded by IRS to date worth $321M. More specifically, our team is supporting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) with Redesign, Redevelop, Consolidation of IRS Web Portals delivering vastly diverse array of products and solutions to the end-customer since 2012. This is 10-year engagement with the IRS to redesign and redeploy the IRS.gov web portal. Under this contract, the team is tasked with providing hosting, operations, and maintenance support for the Public User Portal (PUP) a/k/a: IRS.gov.

Case Study– DC.gov -- DC-NET
Under the DC-Net/TIPPS contract, VisionOnline teamed with Symbiont Corp., a local SLMBE, to help build the City's first fiber optic Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) network (aka DC-Net), which provides web-based communication platform, managed voice, data, and video wire-based and wireless services to all government constituents city-wide over a secure, highly redundant, and high capacity fiber optic telecommunications platform. This standards-based platform lays the foundation for all next-generation government and public safety communications throughout DC. DC-Net connects over 332 government buildings, provides managed voice, data, and wireless services to over half a million DC residents.
Project Description: VisionOnline teamed with ANEK Software to provide US Geological Survey technical staff for the AMIS project. The AMIS is an integrated data base system that supports the Bureau’s mineral information collection and analysis activities, minerals availability and economic studies, and public land appraisals. AMIS provides a central source of minerals information both versatile and responsive to the needs of minerals problems and policy analysts. Additionally, AMIS aids in the assessment of U.S. policies and options concerning minerals necessary for a sound economy and secure Nation. Currently, AMIS consists of 59 Commodity Data Subsystems, Central Mailing System, Respondent Control Subsystem, US Imports/Exports Subsystem, and a Data Dictionary.
